Alexandra Mazza Wins the Student Competition for the President's Prize in Research in the Undergraduate Physiology Biochemistry & Toxicology Section of the Entomological Society of America
Alexandra Mazza, an undergraduate sophomore in SEBS, receives a national award at the Entomological Society of America's national conference in Denver, Colorado for outstanding presentation of research. Alexandra is an EENR and Entomology double major currently working with Dr. Chloe Hawkings on the molecular evolution of eusocial insect societies. Her talk was entitled "Transcriptional differences between castes of the termite, Zootermopsis navadensis."
