Former EENR student presents at GIS day
Eden Buenaventura presented at GIS day on the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) emergency response tool called ClipRing. She also presented posters on Boating activity in Barnegat Bay in Relation to Ecologically Sensitive Areas and Mapping to Promote Coastal Resiliency: New Jersey Coastal Flooding Exposure Assessment. Eden has won past awards from the NJDEP. Eden graduated from EENR in 2013 with a BS in Ecology, Evolution, and Natural Resources, a minor in Biology, and a certificate in Environmental Geomatics. She worked at CRSSA for 3 years on a project in conjunction with the NJ Department of Environmental Protection involving the governor's 10 Point Action Plan. She then graduated in 2016 with an MS in Ecology and Evolution and a certificate in Geospatial Information Science. She is currently working at the Bureau of GIS at the NJDEP.
