Jill Azzolini (BS '16) UPDATE in April 2017

After graduating from Rutgers in January 2016, I knew I wanted to continue on to graduate school, but I also knew I wanted to take a gap year first. I took the GRE and applied for jobs throughout the spring of 2016, and I was hired as a Project Manager at the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden in Claremont, California. I moved to CA in July, 2016, and while I have both enjoyed my time at RSABG immensely and loved living in California, I kept my mind focused on getting in to graduate school. I applied and interviewed at several schools throughout the fall and winter. I ultimately accepted my offer from Arizona State University, and I will be starting in their Evolutionary Biology Ph.D. program Fall 2017! My research interests include the conservation and physiology of reptiles and amphibians. I will be advised by Dr. Dale DeNardo, who is an expert in herpetology and physiology. It was truly a perfect fit, and I cannot wait to start!
